How do I make a donation to the fund?

Donations can be made with any major credit card, a check or money order. In order to make a donation of any kind please contact the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund at 212-829-4770.  Credit Card donations can be made at that same number or in the Monetary Donations section under the How To Help menu. 

The CFRF also accepts non-monetary donations.

The Fund is a Delaware corporation. It has been recognized as a public not for profit exempt charity by the Internal Revenue Service. We will be happy to provide a copy of our 501(c)3 and our mission statement letter upon request

Is my donation tax deductible?

All money donated to the fund is tax deductible to the full extent allowable by law. All donations receive an acknowledgment letter for tax purposes.

Will any of my donation be used for administrative expenses?

No. Cantor Fitzgerald underwrites any administrative costs, which have not been fully donated.

Can I donate items other than money?

Yes for items for our families, please submit offers of Goods and services via this form (link to form in the how to help section). The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund also maintains a charity site on ebay. If you would like to donate new items that we can resell to benefit our families please call 212-829-4770. How can I volunteer?

The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund is actively looking for volunteers who would like to work with the fund to provide assistance to the families of the World Trade Center Tragedy. Can I get contact information for a specific family member?

In order to protect the privacy of our families the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund does not release family members contact information.

How is my donation distributed?

100% of all donations received are distributed to the families in cash grants.

Can I make a donation to a specific family?

No, unfortunately the law does not allow us to segregate funds for any specific family. We will however send an acknowledgment to the family of your choice that a donation has been made in memory of their loved one.

How do I donate things to be sold on the ebay CFRF site or at benefits on behalf of the families?
